PANDURA is a daughter of the westfalian superstar PILOT, who delivered lots of international winners and champions like Bugatti Pedro, winner of the team gold medal at the Olympics Seoul 1988 with Wolfgang Brinkmann; P.S. Priamos, successfull in the whole word for the German team with Dirk Hafemeister and Ludger Beerbaum; Pro Pilot II, first german horse competing for French Equipe with Edouard Couperie and internationally succesful, as well as the currently very successful ISOVLAS Pialotta, 4th in the individuals at the world championship in Aachen 2006 with Edwina Alexander, AUS.

Pilot sired 85 licensed stallions, e.g. Peter Pan (ZWS Spr. 146) or the Celler stallion Perpignon (ZWS Spr. 146). But also his daughters were very successful as jumpers and nowadays very much sought after as broodmares. Pilot has a breeding index jumping of 144 and belongs to the top 5% of the German jumping sires.

Pandura's dam GRANDHARA is a daughter of GOLDRAUSCH II who sired several good jumpers like the internationally successful Rocco 249. Goldrausch was inbred to hannoverian trademark sire GOTTHARD.  Grandhara further carries two times the westfalian RADETZKY  in her bloodline, who was located at the NRW Landesgestüt and educated in dressage up to Grand Prix level. Radetzkys sire is the famous RAMZES x , who is as well grandsire of RAMIRO. A right sister to Pandura jumped 1.40m classes, the same level Pandura would have done if not injured.

Own performance

We bought Pandura due to her bloodline and her amazing jumping power when she was already 6 years, but she was hardly educated nor trained. She had two foals with her breeder, who later competed in advanced an middle classes. After a short time training with Peter Oesterdiekhoff they competed in advanced and middle classes (L and M) and got immediately successes and high placements.

Pandura jumps 1.60 fences without hesitation. Her strengh and power is nearly unlimited and lets her jump out of any impossible situation wich is fantastic (at the same time a problem because when she is bored she jumps out of every meadow, now matter how high the fence). Sadly enough she injured herself very badly when turning 7 years, so her jumping career was over and we took on breeding with her. And that's really her destiny, because Pandura loves to be a mummy, and even takes great care of the other foals when she has no foal herself.

In the last 5 years it was difficult to get her pregnant, she does'nt do with artificial insemination so we choose natural studding.
