Chardon's dam B-LARA is a daughter of ther famous Holsteiner Line
founder LANDGRAF I, who produced
a large numer of internationally successful horses like Libero
H (Jos Lansink), Lacross (D. Schröder),
Landlord, Optibeurs Lucky Luke and Taggi
(Sören von Rönne).
B-LARA motherd as well the international jumper Ferozia (Francesco Granchi, ITA). Her grandsire CALETTO I himself was internationally successful (bronze medal at European Championship with Dr. Michael Rüping and was a well sought after stallion (ZWS Spr. von 135) with his most successfull offspring beeing CALVARO (Willi Melliger, CH).

Dam PENELOPE is a daughter of the famous westphalian PILOT (ZWS Spr. 142), who was the first showjumping stallion with progeny to earn one million deutschmarks - in fact by the end of 1999, Pilot progeny had earned a staggering DM 6,250,000. He sired many international cracks like Bugatti Pedro (Olympic Team Gold 1988 under W. Brinkmann), P.S. Priamos (L. Beerbaum) or Pialotta (Edwina Alexander, 4th at the Individuals WC 2006 Aachen). Pilot left several licensed stallions like Peter
Pan (ZWS Spr. 146), Perpignon (ZWS Spr.
146), and Pro Pilot I. Pilot mares are still very
sought after. Pilot belongs to the top 5% of German

PENELOPE produced in 1997 her most famous offspring, the international showjumper LORENZO 208 by Lord Caletto, who won under Christian Ahlmann several international GP and became 2nd at the German Championship 2007. Lorenzo is destined to become Cösters successor in the Ahlmann-stable. Penelop's daughter Contiga 2 by Contender jumping at the highest level too.
Grandmother FREIHEIT is a full sister of Pikeur Fleetwood, who was internatiolly successful with Wolfgang Brinkmann and won several GP. Freiheit and Fleetwood stem from the the westphalian stempelhengst FRÜHLINGSBALL, who produced many showjumpers in his time like Feuergeist (Jürgen Kenn), Pikeur Fleetwood and Pikeur Fidelia (both Wolfgang Brinkmann, GER).
